Removing tints

Hi,
I have a Range Rover P38 and wondered about removing the professionally installed tints fitted about 2001.
It is a little dark for my taste and being on all windows of questionable legality.
Any advice or should I leave it in??

not so much the tint you have to worry about, the time consuming bit is removing the glue/residue that's left behind. T&G remover works but you need to protect your trims/door cards as it can, on some substrates, leave staining/discolouration.
All going well should be a days work, oh and be careful of the heated screen of your using a blade.
