WOW what a difference

They are like brand new now

Best thing in the kitchen cupboard and it works better than alloy wheel cleaner

You really need a product like Iron X to get rid of the sintered crud from your brakes.

Company car so as long as the wheels last 4 years and I can get them clean quickly, I'm happy biggrin

Plus, have you seen how hard the 320 Efficient Dynamics wheels are to clean!

I hgave the following piece of 'corrosion' on my alloy wheels and was wondering if anyone could recommend anything to reduce / stop the spread of it. Or explain how it's happened!?

Clearcoat

As for cleaning them, generic alloy cleaner, very fine steel wool and a gentle rub.

I would check your anti corrosion warranty on the car/wheels and see if they are still covered. If not you would need a refurb (or a bit rust treatment then touch them in for the short term)

wheels are not covered under anti-corrosion warranty. Just get them refurbed it's like £50 a corner. It's only going to get worse when water and crap gets under the lacquer
