Finishing polish-is this OK?

I have 2 questions-if someone could answer them, I would really appreciate it!

Having just machine polished my car for the first time (Poorboys SS1)is Autoglym Ultra Deep Shine Car Polish a good product to protec the car?

If I did use the Auto Glym, could I then stick some Poorboys Nattys Blue on, or is that just a waste?
