It's not a polish, it's a sealant.

Not being a retail product there is no need for the expense of retail packaging.

Here's another sellers offerings

The problem here is they could very well be valeters supplies that are surplus to requirements, or the unscrupulous could be decanting used packs with who knows what.
Im not saying that of this case, but you never know. I liked the idea of the old supagard sponges, once they were done they were done. smile

Pinched by the in house valeters / staff from their valeting bay! Would imagine there's a fair few surplus kits around at all times seeing as a good 50% + of them never actually make it on to the car despite the customer being charged for it!

It's usually the labour / mark up on the product that makes up the bulk of the cost of a protection style valet which a dealer offers at the point of sale. It probably is a gneuine kit at a cheap price but to get the best results, you would have to make sure the car is properly cleaned, clayed, polished, wiped over again to make sure there is no wax/cleaner residue and then apply the product.

Biggest 'cost' of these sorts of products at a dealership is their profit margin. wink

Not Autoglym, but I've bought a few Diamondbrite kits off eBay (sometimes just the stage 1 & 2 little bottles) and it has seemed fine and does the job.

As an autoglym trained lifeshine tech you find that the pdi kit will cover more than one car, one size fits all. The surplus is supposed to be kept to help customers if they have paintwork done to re-apply the product, but some people sell it instead frown

It depends on the type the new one clear liquid is wipe on wipe off,the older yellow colour one worked best if left on for 2 hrs removed then left the car dry cure for 24 hrs, sorry for the late reply I'm not on here as much as I should.
