Gel coat polishing?
Discussion
I have a high quality gel coat body work on a kit car which is in good condition, but the perfectionist in me thinks it could be better. There is some very minor localised swirl marks and minor imperfections in the gel coat surface that I would like to work on. I have polished gel coat in the marine world before, but has anyone got experience of products, techniques and type of polishing equipment to use on gel coat on cars to a showroom finish? I'm aware of 3M products, but have also discovered Britemax perfect prep polish on the internet. Has anyone tried this before on gel coat? Any suggestions much appreciated.
