As you can probably tell, im not much of a detailer
Looking for a bit of advice, there is a quite noticable scratch on the tank of my black motorbike but the paint has a sort of glitery clear coat? (triumph street triple), also have a couple of scratches on the car which is also black. Is there any products that you'd recomend thats like t-cut but better for around the same price (thats what a mate recomended), also theres a few types of t-cut, which one should i go for?

T-Cut is an old school abrasive filler, that will round off the edges of any ridges or scratches. By hand you are going to struggle to make any real difference to these other than just fill them....For the money a decent polish topped off by a wax is your best option unless you have access to an electric polisher and some time to correct the fault, or pay for a smart repair.
Best over the counter product is still Autoglym SRP (Super Resin Polish), topped off by a wax. At a push Meguiars Scratch V 2 will do but is not great.
Online the best product to be applied by hand in my opinion is Gtecnique P1 Nano Composite Polish which is great by hand.
Good luck.
