The wheels on my wifes bmw are starting to stain yellowish ,normal cleaning doesnt seem to move it, can anyone recomend a product or method for getting them back to normal.mant thanks in advance.

Think its called paint dude. Laquer is gone probe easier to get them painted or buy some more off egay

The yellow tint is from heat build up. Something like Autosmart smart wheels may work but failing that, an acid based wheel cleaner like Valetpro blue acid wheel gel will do the trick. I would advise that you take the wheel off or use a cup / paint can lid and decant the acid in there then apply to the affected areas as to ensure minimal product gets into teh break calipers as it can perish the claiper seals. Do ensure they are rinsed thoroughly also and once cleaned, seal them to ensue this is less likely to happen in future.

A decent wheel wax something like FinishKare 1000p.

What is the best wheel cleaner to use in cojunction with this that wont erode it to quickly, and how often should it be re applied, bareing in mind i wash the car everyweek.thanks in advance.
