Painting rubber bumpers

I would like to refurbish the bumpers on my Scimitar. Back to black and like product's really don't work that well. Whats the best paint to use that will adhere well to rubber?

Probably painting would look silly if the car isnt supposed to have painted bumpers. What Scimitar is it ?

You can get bumpers trim etc looking nice again by using a heat gun it sort of resores them.

Thought about wrapping them rather than paint ?

Have you thought about trying Plasti-Dip? I've not used it myself but at under £15 for a spray can it may be worth an experiment. Apparently it's easy to peel off should you want to remove it.

I don't want to colour them I just want them black. I will have a look at plasti-dip.

I think you would have to use something thats matt finnish then. I think thats how the bumpers are on them (if my memory is correct).

Dont no anything about plasti dip but its popular now so worth a look at as is wrapping.

looking at the picture plastidip would be ideal. And if you don't like it you can peel it off again.

Have a look at Upol Plast-X aerosols. They have been made for this type of job.

Received 4 cans of Plasti Dip this morning. Will be having a go next week so will update this thread with the results.
