I used to buy a load of stuff from CleanYourCar but am now out of touch with what is 'best'.

I am after a detailing spray so when I get to any meets, if I so choose, if I can whip it out and give the Griff a once over.

What do we recommend?

I tried that years ago and just could not get it to work for me.
Its different from Last touch which i find always works well as a QD and as a drying aid.

Both Red Mist and Zaino Z8 are a sealant aswell i belive. Ive not had much look with using either tbh they always seem to leave a streaky finnish no matter how i apply them or how much i apply. I just use them if the cars wax is getting to the end of its life and ive not got chance to re do it now.

Clearkote Quickshine is a wonderful quick detailer, works on glass and around the house too. Great on computers, flat screen LCD's and phones too.

I've been using Clearkote Quickshine for a number of years and nothing else I have tried comes close. It can be used as a clay lube but I just normally use soapy water. The only problem with it is that it is hard to get hold of over here, although Clean Your Car seem to have it at the moment.

Meguires last touch can be used as clay lube + you can water it down a bit so its great value + smelly pretty nice :-)

Not sure about the Poorboys ive never used that.

Zaino Z8 or the Red Mist defo not a clay lube.

I think that's down to too much product and not working quick / vigorous (sp) enough with it. Calling Dom!

Less is more.....spray on from two feet away and wipe off immediately, keeping the surface cool and out of the sun.

This is how your supposed to use it when I've asked about it in the past.

However I've tried various ways and never seem to get good results tbh. Must be me as a lot of people swear by it

Not used it, but with some detailing spray it's quite effective to mist the mf cloth rather than the car.

How is your surface prepared, what waxes are you using and how good (new) are your microfibres for removing the QD?
