I seem to use quite a few of these.... Where is the cheapest place to buy them?

This. They do a bulk pack with um, lots in it. I find they work best after a wash ans SWMBO now knows that the car cloths don't have conditioner in the wash.

You can get so many that you can be lavish with your microfibres. I used an older one today to apply and buff off tyre gel. Finished and straight in the bin. Result!

Asda - pack of 24 in different pretty colours for £8.50-ish.

Quality seems OK.

QD do a microfiber towel 85cm x 50cm, it's thick, double sided and has a cotton border sewn on it. They cost around £6 each but are bloody brilliant. I've had one for a while and it's had a few washes, still as soft as a baby's bum.

Second all the comments about the Costco ones. Also, as Silverthorn said, you get so many in the packs that you do end up using them as a throw-away item!

Mine seem to go through a life-cycle of polishing/wax removal when new, to door-shut cleaning duties once slightly soiled after a couple of uses, and then finally onto alloy/tyre cleaning or oil-level checks before going in the bin!
