I need to touch my E39 up after some bumper repairs. Does anyone have any recommendations as to where to buy some decent aerosol paint?

Don't laugh, but Halfords.

They can mix any colour on site in many stores - the cans are much better quality than the off the shelf version.

Last time I got some mixed by Halfords it was nowhere near a colour match, but it was silver whuch is notoriously difficult to match anyway.

Were you going to spray something at midnight last night? I have used a couple of on-line places, but found that the quality of nozzles was questionable. So I have gone back to Halfords........

I've never had a decent colour match from Halfords. I'm talking the mixed in store type. Some have been Stevie Wonder bad.

I used paints 4 u and they were bang on. Mail order, but here in 2 days.

You must be quite pleasantly surprised that your post has got 5 replies in less than 24 hours from the daily allocation of half a dozen posts!
May I politely suggest that next time you do a bit of forward thinking and don't wait till the death before asking for advice - and do it without moaning that the mods have moved your thread to the correct section.

And who knows if you hadn't have had a dig at this rather specialist section the knowledgeable people that regularly post here may have given you even more advice and replies wink

If I'd wanted advice on how to post, I'd have used Website Feedback, but thanks for your assistance anyway wink
