Autoglym lifeshine - preparation
Discussion
Hi all,
I recently picked up my new car which had been 'treated' to lifeshine. It's 3 years old so I was not expecting showroom condition but it has a large scuff on the boot and a number of minor stone chips. My expectation was that the car would be prepared properly before applying the Autoglym - ie sort out these props to get the paintwork back to vgc.
Is this a fair expectation?
Cheers

Sadly the Lifeshine is little more than a poor wash and a quick once over with some not great polish and wax. Most home detailers will do a better job in regard to a two bucket wash, proper rinse, clay, wash, pat dry, polish, glaze and the wax....before really getting busy!
Sadly most dealerships dont do a good job and I doubt if they care or even understand the word detail. Never worth the money on a car! Get the vehicle along to a really good detailer for a machine polish and get rid of whatever lurks on the surface of your topcoat.
