I've posted this in General Gassing but it's probably better suited here (mods feel free to move/delete as required)

I bought my car back in 2011, and have owned it for almost 2 years now. I bought the car with the damage already present, and the price at the time reflected that. Being mechanically sound with just a couple of bumps and scrapes I decided to go for it.

The car is getting a little older now, 06 plate, and I'm considering getting the body work fixed up and looking smarter.

The car is a Ford Focus MK2, 2006

Could anyone estimate roughly what sort of repair bill I could expect to get? I'm sure prices will differ immensely, I'm by no means looking for absolute impeccable perfection, but to get the car looking tidy again would be nice smile

Pics can be found here with a short description of the type of damage:

Would really appreciate any feedback thanks smile

I think even using the most economical paintless dent removal and smart repair company you won't be seeing much change from £500.

Everything pretty straightforward, the dent on the NSR 1/4 could have PDR and then a polish so no need to repaint, the edge of that rear quarter with the rust could just be treated and touched in as its just on the edge, between the £500-600 mark IMO, (Rear Bumper, OSF Corner, OSR 1/4 panel dent repair, PDR and polishing)

Thanks Kidders smile

My general feeling before asking for advice was if this could be done for under £500, I'd get it done.

A friend of a relative does car body work so I'm hoping to get a very fair price from him. He worked on my old Rover Metro and did a fantastic job for minimal cost.

Main reason for posting on here before going to him first was if the general feedback was it would cost £1000 odd, I wouldn't waste his time checking it out. But from the suggestions on here the £500 mark seems achievable.
