Leather interior restoration
Discussion
I have a 1998 Porsche 996 which is due to have a full stripdown & respray when I go on holiday early september. I know that when I get back off holiday the car is going to look amazing until I open the door and look inside and see the tired old red leather interior. So what im looking for is either suggestions on how I go about restoring this myself (leather restorer/cleaning products/etc.) or am I better off simply paying a professional to repair/recover the seats. Advice please.
The drivers seat is the worst as is probably to be expected and I dont think that a standalone leather cleaner will cut it on the bolster part at least anyway. The rears are almost as new as they are never used and to be fair the passenger seat isnt that bad either. I was looking for something/someone that could do the seats/door cards and dashboard if possible. Just to bring it up to par with what the rest of the car is going to look like.
interesting as i replied only a few days ago on another section of this forum , so makes it very easy to copy and paste

i am sure that each of those threads will cross link with each other , but there should be everything and more than you need.
i have many more thread links to what can be done including colour changes if you wish i will find them.
