Just bought an '01 Golf Cabrio that had a respray a year or so back, previous owner never got round to replacing the big VW badge and 'GOLF' lettering. I've been given both with the car. Just wondering what the best way of fixing these is - double-sided sticky tape, or something else? Also, is there such a thing as a placement template to help me get it all back on in the right place?

Double sided tape something like one of these http://www.waysideadhesives.com/Body-Trim-and-Badg... you will have to do most of it by eye. A new 'golf' badge might not be as costly as you think from vw and already come spaced out.

Thanks for the link, I've ordered some tape from them. The Golf name I have is in separate letters.

Your welcome smile make sure all the old tape is removed. A razor blade is ideal for trimming round the letters just make sure the back of the letters are spotless and you press the tape on well.
