Which polish & machine - quick guide?

[k-ink]

Is there a quick "How to guide" online for polishing car bodies? I wish to invest in a machine and appropriate supplies. Just for my own personal use. I am not looking to spend months reading up on this. I do not see this as a hobby! I just wish to find a quick practical guide. If anyone has suggestions for kit that would be great too!

Thanks

Check out the YT videos by Mike Philips from Meguiars – that's about as quick and dirty as you'll get without spending time reading through old threads here and on Detailing World.
