Whats the best way to do this that doesn't end with muddy water marks etc.

I have 2 buckets, some autoglym shampoo, a microfibre wash thingy and a chamois and limited patience biggrin.

Cheers,

James

A watering can isnt a bad way to rinse off with if you haven't got access to a hose.

I use a watering can. It may not be as good as a hose but it does work.

Could be complete rubbish but for £15 its less then a posh watering can hehe

Ive also used a watering can during hosepipe bans. Does the job but be prepared for your neighbours trying to be funny by saying 'it wont grow' or similar remarks.

This is true. My next door neighbour came out with this witticism so I watered his shoes... That shut him up!

As mentioned, a watering can doesn't work too badly. If your car is heavily soiled you can always find your nearest petrol station with a jet wash and get the worst off there.
