Just cleaned/polished/sealed the bus today and tried to wipe off with a microfibre cloth. The world seems to have gone microfibre and nano mad so I gave it another try. Fact is, I don't like them. Now I don't doubt the efficacy of them, but they feel horrible when they catch on your hands and they don't feel right when wiping off polish. I resorted to my trusty polishing cloths washed only in virgins urine and no conditioner.

Agree, disagree or phone a friend?

Good on wax....rubbish on glass, rubbish on polish....prefer a sponge pad or the like. Great all round tool but far from perfect for all jobs to be done.

Great on wax. Ok on glass. Only use pads for polish. *I never bother cleaning them, just buy new ones when they're dirty.

I love my micrfibres. Never wash them with conditioner would be my first advice and they are much better when washed first.

Lots of different types though. The ones in a big bundle from Costco are great when washed and you end up with so many you have the luxury of using microfibres for just about all jobs you need a cloth for.

Im with you on they dont feel right in your hand. However i do use them i think they do the job well. I just put a pair of gloves on i hate the smell of polish / wax etc on my hands so wear them anyway.
