removing the smell of cigarettes from car

any recommendations for any products that can remove the smell of cigarettes from car
have tried the likes of febreese etc and professional products that are recommended.

Have you deep cleaned all the plastics as well as the seats and carpets? I'm pretty sure you can also buy a fraganced smoke bomb style product that should help.

Or there was something I read once about putting a bowl of hot water and vinegar in the footwells overnight which would help to drag in the smells without leaving the car stinking of vinegar. Don't quote me on that one though.

You're gonna need a few products and a whole lot of time...

You need to focus on the headliner of the vehicle, you need it cleaning with a steam cleaner really as if you soak the headliner excessively this can effect the glue and cause it to say...

Then you need to obviously deep clean the seats, shampoo, scrub and wet vac them. I would recommend steam cleaning all of the door cards, trims etc, then obviously dressing them with a nice interior dressing product.

Then an ozone machine is a good bet, replace your cabin filter and spray the filter itself with lots of air freshner type product, then leave the car running for half an hour with the air con on and recirc on with all the windows and doors shut.

often find that it will still have the odd whiff but will be much improved.. smoke is a hard thing to get smell out of.
