Painting suspension advice
Discussion
Hi there
I am just in the process of restorting a TVR, I am currently starting the rebuild of the front suspension and hubs, iv got new ball joints etc and I am going to clean up the hubs. As the ball joints are not fully painted and the hubs are to be painted I am unsure about painting the surfaces that bolt flush together which are currently bare metal, I don't want any potential rust but I don't know whether it's best practice to be sandwiching paint? Is this ok? Or is there another way of treating the metal?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated
