leather scuffmaster kit conditioning?

Hi im about the use the leather dye.. quick question is do I need to apply conditioner after as I was told I dont need to apply this to modern leather?

I've heard this from other places, but have never had a definitive answer in my case - Ferrari leather from 1997, condition or not? I have been doing so far with Gliptone GT11

If the leather is absorbent then you can use conditioner if it's a painted finish no point. Try a spot of water, does it soak in?
