Heard good things about Autoglym super resin polish, but will it do anything to remove or at least hide swirl marks if using by hand only?

It really depends on how many swirl marks you have ?

I would probably try something like Farecla G3, followed by Farecla G10 after that

Both products have always worked well for me, when applied by hand and machine

To do it properly, speak to a proper detailer.

To give it a bash yourself, I tend to use Auto Finesse stuff, works pretty well. Tripple is pretty good.

Resin polish is just a filler. Although a great product, wont remove swirl marks, just mask them. To remove, youd need something with a cut to it, grade dependant on the depth of your swirles. Currently using poorboys at the moment, check the range out. :http://www.poorboys.co.uk/

Check out Detailers & their advice on this Forum & elsewhere. You may need their services to use a machine polisher or DIYT.
Polish will NOT remove swirls, it will merely 'polish' them!!
Something with a slight cutting compound is required, then you polish - this is grossly simplified.
I'm no professional but on a black car that was slightly swirled I used & re-use Zxmol applied with horizontal & vertical strokes. This was followed by Poorboys Black Hole, THEN I applied a polish, either Autoglym or old fashioned Simoniz. Topping up with Turtlewax Black Detailer maintains a good wet-look finish, sufficient to impress the staff at a main dealer when I took car for service this week.

Thanks for the replies. The car is only a gen 3.5 Hyundai Coupe in blue, its not valuable enough to spend money on a full detailing by a pro.
I've clay barred it and i use Meguiars Carbuna wax but i've never used a polish on it, so if super resin hides the swirls i'll be happy.
Paint looks like this, (view full screen and you can see them clearly). Hyundai paint isnt the best:

The swirls will be hidden but only until the coating evaporates over a few weeks and they will be back again.

Another vote for Auto Finesse Tripple, it has a light cutting action, as well as filling and wax, so you should get the worst of the swirls out.

Scholl concepts S17 is a cracking polish with a bit of cut in it, if you have access to a buffer it will come up great with a firm pad
