Doesn't sound unreasonable for a decent job.

£1500 is a good quote for SE.

So the £1400 the OP has been quoted must be a very good quote :-)

I had my Maserati resprayed last year by a guy in Waterlooville

He's made an absolutely cracking job of it , looks like a new car , he's a real perfectionist , I read on another forum he's a bit quiet at the moment so is doing full resprays for 2k

There's a few extras on top of that if you want glass out etc but don't think he's a cut price bodger the guy is an artist

If you get all that done to a decent standard for that I'd be amazed.

ditto...

it depends where all these little scuffs are, if it means removing multiple parts and whether adjacent panels need blending for a decent job then the pricing looks to be miles out.

I'd be interested to know where that quote's from, I've got a few scuffs that need sorting out on my boxster

As for the poster who had a 'full' respray for £2k.....best of luck with that whistle

Pictures would be great. Can you give the name of where you took it? I'd be interested

Sounds like they did you a favour by not washing the car (probably with a gritty bucket and sponge).

Ditto. Or a clue as to the name .. need to do a bit of a polish/refurb as well.

I had one done for £600 and 5 years later it's still absolutely perfect.
