Dynax uc 50 over rust?
Discussion
Hi,
Effective over rust? It might hide it for a bit, perhaps slow it down, but it's no way going to cure rust.
Nothing can do that. Krust I suppose can work if you get right back to bare metal and its still solid underneath, but if rust has taken hold the only solution is to cut out affected metal and replace.
It does seem to get good reviews for treating metal. I use acf50 on my motorbike and find it quite gloopy to apply, so might give this a go this winter.
I would clear the carpet and trim out of the way, then use a wire brush drill to see what's what.
Also, get under the car to see what's caused it, removing arch liners etc.
