How Do I Fix This Dent?

I've not really done any bodywork repairs apart from small dings and dents before. Any advice on how to approach this one?

Stud welder, not an easy repair as the metal will more than likely tear along the seam.

bit of scrap bar inside that edge and hammer it out best you can , then clean it up and filler
