Restoring white paintwork

I've got a white van that over the years has lost most of its shine. I've got a DA and have given the van a going over with Autoglym polish and although it has made a slight improvement it is a long way from having a shine. I didn't want to dive straight in with something too aggressive so any hints will be appreciated.
