Painting just a wing ?
Discussion
My daily driver BMW E46 has its common rusty wing problem ( pretty the other side has been replaced, its rust free ) and I bought a new unused genuine BMW wing for little money. I was thinking of booking it in for a front end respray, but really can't justify it on whats a sub £1K car.
So I was thinking of just dropping the wing off to a body shop and having them paint it and I'll fit it myself. I know its not ideal, but too busy to have the car off the road. What are the chances of them doing a decent job re the colour match ? I'm not looking for perfection and don't expect it, just trying to make it a bit better from the growing size of the whole in the wing. Paint it a metallic black.
Thanks
