Watermarks

I've read that watermarks can be removed using distilled vinegar and a microfibre cloth which all sounds fine to me. I understand that any wax would need to be reapplied afterwards.

The thing I was wondering, would using vinegar cause any long term damage to paint if used regularly?

Or, is there a better way of removing them, such as a trusted product?

Is this after washing, i.e on an otherwise clean car?

A quick going over with Koch Chemie FSE detailer should do the trick

when do the watermarks occur? Once the car is fully dried? Or, are you not drying it fully and it's leaving marks?

Either way, I certainly wouldn't be using vinegar.

These are watermarks caused by the water evaporating before I have a chance to dry it.

That detailer spray looks good; I'll try some of that. Thank you

Don't use vinegar, that would be a quick, cheap fix in the trade I suspect. If you're serious then fork out for a de-ioniser, it will filtrate the water and seriously reduce spotting, I have used one for a couple of years and have no problem with marks though I always dry the car off.

I have bought one of those 'Raceglaze' water filters to try and address this problem. Apparently the car can be left to dry with no water marks and I'm going to try it out today. My annoyance was when drying it was marking the wax iyswim.

Well, I tried it out today washing two cars one black the other a sort of metallic slate and,,,,, IT WORKS! Took one for a spin and left the other to dry and no water marks in sight. Definately reccomend. Just rinse off and leave.
