if you sprayed new paint on an area of the car and the old paint had faded slightly or just looked old, how would you blend the old and new paint? T-Cut?

Thanks

polish the car up best you can - tcut or otherwise

waft the new colour into the grey scotch padded original paint , then clear coat the whole panel

What about cars where the panel doesnt end without doing half the car and there's no useful seam
Can you blend in the edges of the topcoat too?

you would choose a narrow gap like a windscreen pillar and do a blend on the clear , basicly dust blending thinners over the edge then a gentle buff once dry

Can you not get fade out thinners anymore ? thats what the body man next to me would use, he has it in spray tins rather than gun application ?
