GTECHNIQ - usage advice please

I saw an advert in EVO this month for the G4&G5 Glass kit for £15, and thought i'd give it a whirl, as ive just got a new car (Audi TT) without a rear wiper so like the idea of the water beading off easily - I guess I would also apply it to the windscreen to reduce the need for wipers.

Anyway, noticed postage was free if you spend over £40, and figured maybe i'd get some fancy polish/wax too while I was at it, but found the range and usage claims bewildering...
I am not a hardcore detailer - I have Autoglym super-resin polish & wax and would do my last car once or twice a year, and wash pretty regularly. Also have used claybars in the past.

My new car is 2.5 years old and (to my eyes) has lovely paintwork - I just want to maintain/protect it without any risk of knackering it by applying something cackhandedly that only a professional detailer should do. I don't have anywhere covered to do any detailing - just outside on a dry/not-too-sunny day.

Are there any Gtechniq products that are idiot proof that could be used to make my car shiny(er), either alone, or in combination with my existing Autoglym polish? And what would a good regime be - something like:
1) Wash
2) Claybar
3) Polish with Autoglym (or is there an equivalent/better gtechniq polish?)
4) Finish with something like "C2 Liquid Crystal"? https://gtechniq.com/products/auto/perfect/exterio...
5) Presumably the C2 is instead of wax, right?

Any tips/advice welcome.

Yes C2v3 will work well over the products you already have.

C2 instead of wax, yes.
Dont forget when washing. 2BM ( 2 buckets)
Use C2 diluted, or misted to act as a drying aid, will increase the life of the finish a bit.

Congrats on the new car!

From my experience (albeit not using the same product) it's not worth trying to use polish by hand. They advertise that you can but it won't do much and you could actually risk introducing swirl marks. But I'm quite confused by the gtechniq range and I don't know much about it

Also, take a look at did sites like cleanyourcar / polishedbliss / shopnshine etc they have good descriptions of all the different products. Whilst you're getting your products, if also stock up on microfiber cloths. One of the most useful ones I bought was a massive drying towel thing. Eliminates water marks after washing.

Thanks for the replies and tips guys. I think I might get the glass kit and have a think about the other stuff - some more research and thinking required on that front.

Cheers dude! Are you able to get to the Pinewood meets now they are on sunday mornings? If so, theres one on the 15th - I should be there in the new wheels! Mind you, that's the last before it switches back to Thurs nights for the summer.
