Hi,

Noticed a scratch on the car today, it’s a space grey BMW. I think it may have been keyed by the looks of it but I can’t feel the scratches with a fingernail which gives me hope that it can be polished out ? Any recommendations much appreciated. Photo attached. The photo is rotated so scratch runs vertically roughly in the middle, might have to zoom to see it.

If you can't feel it with your fingernail then t-cut might do it. Just put some wax onto it afterwards.

If that doesn't work it'll probably need to be polished.

Good luck!

A general rule of thumb is if it doesn't catch your finger nail then it can be removed by machine polishing or some localised wetsanding.

cheers

Chris

Thanks both, I bought some Farecla G3 from halfrauds and a waffle applicator and I’m thinking that might do it, will see how I get on.
