Got an 18 plate, first wash last week after having mid March and can see at least 3 already.

Annoying but not much you can do about it other than protective film or bonnet bra

Keep well back from the vehicle in front to minimise the risk.

How many miles has the car done?

50 stone chips on a car that's only done 2k miles is excessive. On a a car that's done 200k probably not.

Ditto.

Mine's 8 years old and 40k, I think it has three chips.

Mine is peppered. Recently bought a Chipex kit to tidy up the front.

2011 car with 60k on the clock.

Is this the same one that you asked about various bits of damage, including IIRC stone chips, were given answers/advice & then deleted all your posts?
Or is it the Mini that you asked about various bits of damage, were given answers/advice & then deleted all your posts?

And yes, stone chips are one of the 'pleasures' of owning cars. You'll get a lot more when/if you drive it on bits of road that they've just surface dressed.

Had has wrap from new and ceramic about five yeas ago.

Not chip out of it. The stuff works:

Have to say that is such a nice looking car, and great colour.

You mentioned clear film up to the A pillars, do you mind if I ask how much that cost?

I am im Canada so hard to compare but as I recall the cost on this one was about $CAN1500

I also got my 991RS done in Germany the day I picked it up and the cost was EUR 2200

Recently got Panamera Sport Turismo done, but because it was much bigger it cost $CAN 3250

never really managed to master the Chipex, few hundred quid every couple of years for a front end paint job seems the best plan I think. Probably need to think about PPF..

Going by your previous topics and threads started OP.
You seem to be bordering on obsessive about this car, whatever it may be to the point of OCD.
Stone chips, tiny little dents etc...
Do you want to drive it or marry it?
Stop it now, otherwise it will drive you mental.
HTH.

OP does seem to get overly bothered by such things, now worrying in another thread if they are washing their car often enough.
