What's going on here!?

A couple of areas of my car have huge areas of strange marks on the paintwork (bonnet and the factory spoiler). I first noticed last night after its first clean for 6 weeks after the car sat whilst I recovered from surgery. At first I thought it was just putting on too much Aqua Wax, or it was a bit to sunny, or both.
However, I can't seem to clean it off. I've tried
- AG Shampoo, nothing
- So then a fairy liquid, assuming it was wax that needed breaking down, nothing
- So then SRP, nothing
- So then I resorted to a couple of patch tests with T-Cut. One area may have come off, but the other area isn't touched, the sun is out now so it's hard to tell and impossible to do any more for now.
Any ideas? It almost seems the lacquer has been eaten by something. It's irregular in pattern but spread all over these two areas.
