Complete colour change

Hi guys. Spotted this on ebay and looks very tidy. Not a fan of red though and bringing them in from America is a nightmare. Is there anyone on here who owns or works for a bodyshop who can give me an idea of what the cost of a compete colour change would be? I'm thinking dark blue or black. Thanks

I did consider wrapping, i think i'd rather a respray if its not going to break the bank. wrapping is over £1k and only temporary.

A decent paint job (engine out, trim off, windows out etc) will cost you WAY more than £1k.
It'll just look rubbish (and impact resale value) if you don't do the proper prep.

I'm fairly sure I read that someone had a full colour change on an R8 and the cost was between £3k-£5k

Wraps are usually around £1k so the above figures doesn't sound unreasonable.

If I thought it could be done for between £2 and £3k (properly) I'd probably go for it
