New seat belts for Chesil Speedster

Hi, I am having a Chesil Speedster restored and need to purchase new seatbelts. Do I have to buy them from Chesil? or can I buy 'universal' ones off the shelf?

Do you just want the material or do you want the buckles, fasteners etc?

Hi Bellair302,
I need brand new inertia seat belts complete with mechanisms and lap belts for the rear seats. I have found company called universal seatbelts who do cream ones, which I quite fancy. I just need confirmation that these will fir the Chesil Speedster before purchasing.

I would contact Chesil as these cannot be that expensive and maybe ask them where heirs come from, VW aftermarket or somewhere else?
