I have a black Range Rover and I have like 6 areas with bird poop on my roof which have been there for around a month now, I haven’t had time to clean my car but am going to clean it tomorrow, will these bird poops have stained my paintwork?

You mean you couldn't be bothered hehe

I keep a pack of wet wipes in the car, as I don't wash the car religiously but when it comes to any unattractive stains such as bird poo, they get taken off straight away using the wipes.

Do you think it should come out, they are only thin layers of poop

Think of bird poop as blobs of acid. If left to dry and then it rains it just makes a possible mark worse. As already mentioned wipe off asap with a wet wipe then the next time you wash your car properly all should be mark free

I wash my car only monthly or so - but bird-crap I remove as soon as I see it, otherwise I may end up posting on a forum.....

Comes off much more easily when it's fresh. Bits you miss need plenty of water and, if you have any, dead bug shifter for the really persistent stuff.

I guess I’ll know if it’s stained tomorrow when I clean it, I’ll give it a wax and polish as well

That there AutoGlym Super Resin Polish seems to add a lot of birdy protection. The adler-scheisser that lands on my A.S.R.P'd car just rinses off with water from a water bottle.

I keep wet wipes in my cars also. But that's just because I enjoy car sex. Bloody uncomfortable in the Lotus though. Is it a Vogue?

One of our cars is black and it's the only one where bird st leaves marks on the paint, machine polisher should sort it or wet and dry if really bad, should always be removed safely as soon as possible to reduce potential damage, specially in this current hot spell IMHO

You need to have a word with your bird if she keeps shatting on your car.

I won’t be leaving bird crap on my car for any longer than 1 day now, hopefully it will just polish out

Washed car, removed bird poop and applied polish to where the bird poop was and it looks perfect, no damage what so ever

No sequel? No Series 2?

There was too little character development in the early episodes.
