Snow Foam not lifting dirt
Discussion
Hi Guys
So I was down Euro car parts about a year ago and i saw demon shine snow foam on offer so i got some just out of curiosity. This was the cheap stuff with the applicator built in. You just plug into the hose pipe and away you go. I thought it was fantastic. It lifted 2 years worth of dirt off my old van in no time at all. I barely had to touch it with a sponge and it came up shiny clean.
I was sold on snow foam, thinking that, if the cheapest rubbish from euro car parts is that good then the proper stuff must be mind blowing Having read good reviews, I have just bought some Prokleen cherry snow foam and a proper lance for the pressure washer and had a go on a couple of cars that i have had parked up outside for about a year. I gave them a good rinse off and then applied the snow foam at the instructed 3 to 1 hot water to snow foam ratio. I got a great amount of thick silky foam, left it for 15 mins and washed it off with the high pressure jet. Rather underwhelmed by the result I did it again, left the car to dry off and it looks rubbish. I might as well have just washed with water. It hasn't lifted anything!
I wasn't expecting magical things but I at least expected the dirt to be gone! Am i doing something wrong?
Should i try it at a much higher concentrate? 3 to 1 snow foam to water?

I rinsed it first to get rid of the moss, tree sap, foliage, etc as it's an old car that's been parked up for a year or so. The other car is just a beater that we don't care about so whilst clean of foliage it hadn't been washed in ages. I understand that snow foam is a pre wash but I used the car plan Demon foam on it last time and that was amazing, now I have bought the proper stuff, I kind of expected brilient results but it's pretty piss poor
