Hi there

I have a leased VW Polo and I left it in my estate car park underneath a tree. I was away for a week or so and came back to baked on purple bird poo.

I took it to a car wash and they did a fairly good job but it has left dull marks across the whole bonnet where the lacquer seems to have come off(?)

I don't want to attempt to repair this myself as I don't want to do further damage, and happy to take it somewhere to get fixed.

What I don't want though, is for them to charge me an extortionate rate. How much should something like this cost? The damage doesn't look too bad, and is only really noticeable if you go up close.

Also, if by any chance somebody knows of a place that would do it, in or around Tottenham, that'd be a mega bonus!!

Thanks in advance

Henry

I had this recently on my show car. Must have plopped on it as I was putting it away & I didn't notice before putting the cover over it. Next time I took it out found the burnt on poop (went mad at myself for not noticing). Luckily a light wet sand & machine polish sorted it.

Thanks Winky151,

What would you expect to pay for somebody to do this?
