Like a chump, I used a cloth to clean our garage doors that had been used to wipe tyre dressing off. Now we have smears of semi-gloss all over the doors.

Warm soapy water, squeegee mop and pressure washer hasn't worked.

It's Autosmart stuff if it helps.

Any ideas chaps please?

I have not tried either of these so proceed with caution but vinegar cleans alot of things so could try damping a cloth with some.

Coca cola also works at stripping oil off pavements/driveways so again could try that but be careful it doesn't eat the paint as well.

Both are guesses and I'm sure most others will be as well as I can't see many people having done what you have.

Try 'clutch & brake cleaner' on a cloth.
Do an out of sight test area to be sure the paint isn't affected before doing the visible areas.

Thanks.

What's in it? Anything I am likely to already have?
