Polish / Wax on Rubber Trim
Discussion
Firstly my apologies for starting another one of these threads, but I am now getting to the end of my tether with it !
Went to great lengths masking everything up a couple of years ago, however caught a loose tape edge and the inevitable happened.
At the time I managed to make best of it and thought I had cleared it up........................but just recently it has come back to haunt me !
I have tried all the usual tricks and potions:
Pencil Eraser
Mineral Oil
Peanut Butter
Various Detailing Products
Powerful Magic
Harsh Language
But none of this has had any effect.
So, open to suggestions.................

A citrus based cleaner on a microfibre should do the job - it doesn't necessarily have to be car specific like Gtechniq W5 citrus cleaner, you may have a household one knocking about.
cheers

Thank you Chris, I'll give that a go !cheers

Thats What She Said said:
Use a wet 'magic eraser' sponge. Gently go over the area (gently is key here, the 'sponge is abrasive).
This would be the next option, melamine or 'magic' sponge - yes it is ever so slightly abrasive but using with the previously mentioned citrus cleaner gives it some lubrication.cheers
