Sand, as bad as Road salt?
Discussion
Hi All,
I live in the middle east and when it (rarely) rains, it rains Sand! That means puddles and flooded areas (when it does rain, it rains HARD) the car looks like crap without moving an inch and when drivin even the engine bay gets covered (aforementioned floods). Question is, do I need to worry about cleaning it in fear of corrosion etc or can I leave it a few weeks until the storms have calmed?

Everything painted and open to the weather in the Middle East gets sand blasted, this is nothing to worry about
Great thanks, figured as much its just i begin to question myself when everyone rushes out to get the cars valeted as soon as the sky clears up, then complains as they have to do it again two days later!
