Help with plastic welding rods / material needed!

Hi folks,

I’m needing some black plastic welding rods in the next day or so - do body shop suppliers sell them or where can I get them? Also does anyone know what specific material to use on an 2008 Audi front bumper?

My Audi A6 is getting the timing belt done and it’s a good chance to fix a tear in the front bumper bottom as it’s off overnight!

I'm guessing you've sorted this by now but the best thing to do is cut a section from the bumper and use that as a filler/welding rod. Cut a strip from the webbing/bracing on the inside of the bumper, guaranteed to be the right material.

Thanks I don't know why I never thought of that! I put this off because of bad weather and used the technique! much appreciated!!
