Does anyone know what the black rubbery sponge are called?
Discussion
Noob question:
I have a Toyota IQ. I remember when I installed the OEM wind deflectors (side window visors) them, they had provided little black sponge-like pieces, which were placed at the front of the visors and on top of a seam.
I've realised that my left indicator has been cracked (probably from the previous owner) and am going to get a new one. They're not too expensive to replace, but the replacements don't have the black sponge thing.
These things are basically some rubbery/silicon-y sponge which compresses like a sponge, but for example, if rubber sideways feels really rubbery and grippy. They have one side with adhesive.
Basically, what I'm asking for is anyone knows the name for these black sponge sealing things, to see if I can buy a strip separately.
Thanks. Hope I posted this in the right section and is not confusing
