The scuttle trim panel on my 996 has faded/oxidised to a white colour (not uncommon) technically it’s not black, it’s a darkish grey, Solution Finish seems to get really good reviews, but should I be using it on something that’s technically grey not black.

I’d also like to treat the drop glass rubbers/trims, screen surrounds etc, is C4 or Solutuon finish suitable this, or is it for use on hard plastics only ?

Whilst I’d like the various rubber seals to be the correct satin/matt black finish, I’m guessing the rubbers need revitalising or nourishing with a product that will keep them soft AND leave them with the correct factory finish that will last for months rather than weeks (or only days if it rains)

If I need to buy two different products to do the scuttle trim panel/other hard plastics AND a rubber trim restorer/protectant, I’m happy to do so.
Your recommendations would be appreciated.
Many thanks in advace

C4 is a longer term solution over the solution finish for the scuttle trim - proper cleaning and prep advisable for either product of course.

Einzett Gummi Pflege is what you need for any flexible rubber seals etc.

cheers,
