Where to have trim sprayed?
Discussion
What type of place do i need to be going to - to get my plastics on my car sprayed a gloss black - with a finish that wont end up peeling?
Im thinking fog light surrounds and diffuser.
Theres a well known place on the owners forums but its miles away and i cant be bothered with postage, but the quality is amazing and lasts more than a year.
One garage local to me who is very well known said the paint wont stick and he is not interested.
Is there some sort of special prep required?

A lot of bodyshops don't like spraying textured plastics because
A. They were never intended to be sprayed.
B. Because of the texture it's difficult to key properly.
C. To get rid of the texture you have to apply a lot of coats and a lot of extra sanding otherwise they always look crap.
D. There is a greater risk of stone chipping
I'm one of those bodyshops who refuses to do them except for specific customers who are aware of all the drawbacks.
