We've got a Moonwalk Grey Mini with a stone chip. The dealership has touched it up badly and I would like to improve it.

I've seen an American video of a product called "Chipfix" I think, where the chip is touched up and then a solvent used to wipe off the excess paint round the chip. Does anyone know if there is anything similar in the UK please?

Get a professional to do it? Or a detailer to flatten off what is already there.

The problem at the moment is that the chip hasn't got enough paint in it, so it's not a question of flattening off. It's also in a location where smart repairers will not be keen to work, I don't think, because it is quite difficult to hide blended in spray paint.

The UK equivalent is Chipex.
Fixing chips and minor paint issues is quite easy with practice and there are a ton of videos about it.

I have used Chipex on Metallic Dark Blue.
Time consuming but a pretty good result on the many Bonnet chips.
Very good on a bit of Road Rash in front of the Rear Wheels
