Tyre dressing applicator? A bit of old sponge and your hands. laugh

Aye fair point, thats what I used till recently, the applicators have a bit at the end of the sponge that stops the stuff getting on your hand. Was fed up with tyre dressing fingerprints all over the door handles and interior when I was moving the car back up the drive...first world problems indeed..biggrin

You can get most of the products you want from just a few UK companies: Bilt Hamber, CarChem, AutoGlanz & GTechniq
CarChem pick and mix, AutoGlanz miniatures and CleanYourRide samples are good for picking up small volumes of products for trial purposes.

With that in mind, I've tried most of the below with good results.

Prewash: AG Spritzer (effective degreaser), BH AutoFoam (snowfoam but makes a very good pre-wash)
Iron Out: BH Korrosol
Tar Remover: Halfords Surface Cleaner, CarChem G&T
Wax/ Sealant: BH Double Speed Wax, CarChem Hydrocoat, AG Prizm
Glass Gleaner: AutoGlym Fast Glass
Interior Dressing: CarChem Interior Clean Coat (cleaner and dressing), GTechniq T1 (durable, for tyre and trim)
APC interior and Exterior: Probably doesn't matter

I think most glass cleaners are alcohol based. If the inside of the windscreen is really greasy it might be worth trying something stronger like vinegar or panel wipe.

Also, try not to to too much heavy breathing in the car? scratchchin
