Anyone here used the DIY kits and got a good finish?
Or had issue's with them

Im not sure its all as great as its cracked up to be, seen a mates bmw whos had it done and it didnt look massively better than the maguires he was using . I know its a protective element but would expect a pristine finish too.

It is just a coating so to get the pristine finish you may need to mop the car first like anything it’s all about the preparation

As above, 95% of the end result is in the prep stages, in terms of paint this involves machine polishing to remove as many paint defects as is safely possible.

Is there a specific coating you are referring to? AutoFinesse have one that's available in Halfords which should last a year apparently. Probably quite a good place to start if you are looking to DIY.
Gtechniq C1 is also very easy to apply and isn't overly fussy in regards to temperature/humidity etc.
