Hey guys,

I have been doing some paint repairs on my MG and picked up a DA polisher to clear off some overspray and minor scratches.

What polish do you recommend for just buffing the paint? I tend to get funny marks left behind when using the paint correction stuff I have.

I'm not an expert but that looks to be orange peel within the paint finish as opposed to anything that has been done by using the wrong polish

That looks to have had a good smack at some point & I wonder if some of what you think are scratches are actually hairline cracks caused by the plastic flexing when hit.
If they are then you need paintwork.

It had a scrap on the side but nothing too bad didnt go through the paint. The bumpers sag on these over time as the clips break.

I too thought it was orange peel but it wasnt there before i started to machine polish
