Seems to be a bewildering choice of quick wax appliacatiins to seal in the polish so just looking for some recommendations. I don’t won’t to get too OCD with it so something that doesn’t require hours to do would be beneficial! I currently use autoglym for polish so not sure should stick with their waxes?

Sounds like you need some Gyeon WetCoat or Carpro HydroLite2 - both much the same.

It really doesn't get any quicker or easier for decent protection.

Cheers,

Chris

The gyeon wet coat is a fantastic product, very easy to use.
Did my car over a month ago and its still beading well now.
If your sticking to Autoglym then the rapid detailer helps too.

If the op doesn’t want to get too far down the detailing rabbit hole, Meguiars are like a more innovative Autoglym.

They do a couple of spray on waxes eg Ultimate Fast Finish.
Then use their wash and wax to keep it topped up when you clean the car.

I thought WetCoat is only a hydrophobic top up to be used over a sealant rather than providing protection itself?

I use Gtechniq C2V3. Easy to apply, lasts a long time, protects against UV etc.

in2detailing ceramic crystal wax.

Not stupid expensive @ £22, lasts ages and smells good.

And importantly, it's nice and easy to work on and off by hand.

I have been trying the Megs Hybrid Ceramic Wax.
Seems to be pretty good. Just don’t apply it wet as it recommends as it streaks like mad. Do it on a cool bodywork with a dry microfibre.

Got a good shine with it.
